  2.  WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE IMPLANT SURGERY? - The first couple of days after the procedure, your face will be swollen. This is normal and should be expected, and it will only last for a few days. We also provide you with a temporary and durable replacement tooth denture to wear while you are waiting for the crown to be attached. After the implant and your jawbone have fused together, your jaw will provide a base support for your replacement tooth to be placed. Your new replacement tooth will be as strong as your natural tooth would be. You may feel some slight sensitivity in your gums, but this will be minor and easy to control with over the counter pain relief medication.
